Welcome to RPXplor's official site.

First make sure your Digitech USB is enabled as a Sound Recording Device by: A. Opening your “Control Panel”(Click on StartSettingsControl Panel) then click on Sounds and Audio Devices Icon. Click on the “Audio Tab”. Under Sound Recording, make sure you have 'Digi Tech USB 1-2 in/out' showing in the window. Pc serial number lookup. RP500 Huntersounds v16 Patch List The v14-15 patch sets will be replaced by the v16 set for purchases after Feb. All current license holders will be shipped a copy of the V16 patch set on that date. When you want to buy the patches that make Digitech RPs make these sounds, check out our store. I haven't been here for awhile, and the other night, I grabbed the zip file of all the patches for my rp150 off of digitech's sound community, but, I really don't see any dokken, ratt, skid row, 80's style tone patches in there.

Note: This program RPXplor is a work in progress. Meaning that there may be some bugs or features that are not functional or enabled.

Latest version is v1.2.2 release 10/24/2010 @ 1350 PST UTC-8

To view this site in your language you can try translate.google.com not sure how accurate it is, but it's better than nothing.

Currently RPXplor will load and display all (if properly formatted1) of the following RP preset files, 150, 155, 250, 255, 350, 355, 500, and 1000.

RPXplor will also load and display GNX3k, GNX4 and GSP1101 preset files.

Filtering aka converting is supported for the following:

Please note, NOT ALL Upper

presets (patches) will be easily Down filtered because the UPPER models do have more modeling features than the Lower models, so it's not just a matter of straight filtering/converting.
The reason for this is that RPXplor does not simply rename the XML Tags, but checks the Position, ID, and Values as they are loaded and crossed checked with the known values of the particular RP unit to which it is filtering too.
Example, if your RP unit does not have the Redline distortion and the preset you are trying to convert is calling/using is it, then it's not going to filter over. You can bypass it, tweak as needed as described on the Information page.

Hopefully this will help the RPx55 community to build up the collection of patches. Of course, for those of you with a unit other than the supported models, you can use RPXplor as a patch viewer and manually dial in the settings.

As RPXplor will display the settings in a Human readable form easily. It's easier than using a browser or notepad anyways (IMO).

1 If the preset file was originally save/exported with X-Edit, RPXplor should have no problems loading the file.

Please read this info and info2 (is newer and gives examples of all units not covered in the old info page) page it will help you better understand using RPXplor. Thank you

The patches for the v16 Huntersounds Digitech RP patchset update are all ready, so it’s time to hear the samples! I played these pieces with a Hohner Marine Band Deluxe in A, into an Audix Fireball V mic, into a Digitech RP255, into a Peavey KB2 keyboard amp. Samples were recorded using a Zoom H4 positioned about a foot in front of the KB2 grill, pointing at the center of the speaker. Samples were normalized to the same volume level, and are otherwise unedited. Almost every patch from the RP250/255 V16 set is represented here; there are a few more patches in the RP350/355 set yet to be added. Stay tuned for those. The patches sound very much the same on the 250/255/350/355, in case you’re wondering, with a few exceptions for FX and amp models that aren’t available on the 250/255/350.

You can download a complete V16 patch set listing for your RP device here.

And now for the samples…

I could just start right into the patch samples, but I think the patch sounds will be much more meaningful if I give you some context first. So here’s a piece that demonstrates how these sounds layer up in a groove context. All of these sounds are included in the V16 set. The piece starts with a loop based on the new CMPDRM and BasGtr1 patches–in other words, on a beatboxed drum and bass guitar foundation, which I put together a few minutes before I started recording. Over that I play the various rotating speaker and vibrato patches in the V16 set. I hear new roles for the harp appearing as the sounds change–do you? Check it out:

Okay, now we listen to the individual patch samples.
